Oma and Pappy sent a fun package from PA. for the girls, it had a lot of fun, cute things in it, but as you can see the BIG hit was the Hershey's bar.



Demi said, "This is the biggest candy bar I have ever seen!"
You know what they say......it's all fun and games until Mommy takes the candy bar away. LOL

Well it came again, We were in the middle of dinner when the music started, you know what music I am talking about, the kind that makes kids jump up and down and swarm around like a bunch of bees...it makes a parent frantically run in circles trying to find ANY spare change while the kids yell "hurry, hurry it's going to leave"...that 's right the ice cream truck! Why do we do this? Because of these are the moments, the moments that pay off, the moments that are worth waisting $1.50 on one ice cream when you have a freezer of it in your house. The moments that are full of vanilla smiles, sticky hands and stained t-shirts. The moments that are followed by a nice warm tub and a cozy pair of CLEAN pajamas. These are the things that make us smile, these are the moments that are worth $1.50. (FYI sometimes you don't have to wear pants when you're 2 but the boots are a MUST!)

You are my sunshine on a cloudy day

Demi and I spent some time enjoying the clouds today. She laid out a blanket and pillows and asked if I would look for pictures in them. How could I refuse? I had a lot to do but I knew this was a moment I could connect with her so I did. It ended up being a very sweet time for us and it just goes to show no amount of work would be worth missing this for :) (it will be waiting for me in a half hour..... but she may not be) I was so thankful for this time.

Let it rain ducks and dogs

We went out and about on Mon. it was Demi's 1st day of Track out (she is in year round and is out for 3 weeks)
As a treat I let the girls pick out a little something. Finnley chose these 2 duckies and demi fell "in love" with a webkinz that she now calls Pearl Flower Price :) We had a great time together out on the town.
